GATE and nine members at the 2nd edition of IndiAirport

GATE and nine member companies showcased their offerings at the second edition of the IndiAirport exhibition in New Delhi from November 21st to 23rd. Lenze, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS, Nerak, STI Security Training, SICK, BEUMER, Forbo, Ammeraal Beltech and Motion06 experienced three exciting days and received new impulses from the dynamic Indian market.

 

With the presence at the second issue of  IndiAirport GATE accompanies  the rapid rise of India’s aviation sector, which has become the third-largest domestic aviation market in the world in terms of handling domestic traffic. 

As a supporting partner of IndiAirport the assocication was of course also attending the opening ceremony. Miriam Schönrock, Head of Marketing, had the honor to participate in the tradition of lamp lighting together with Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Sanjiv Edward and Michael Jain, Civial Aviation Committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce and industry, Sanyal Desai, Radeecal Communications and Stefan Kresse, IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH. She also had the opportunity to address the audience and present GATE's activities. Of course, the guests also had the opportunity to visit our members' booths and find out about the new innovations. 

 

On the second day we had the honor to welcome Gen. (Dr.) V. K. Singh (Retd.), Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Civil Aviation as Chief Guest. He payed also a visit to the  exhibitors learning about how German product solutions can help shape the future of Indian airports.

 

On the third day, the Indian and German colleagues already had time to draw their first conclusions. Some were able to establish good contacts with the Indian operating companies, while others had inspiring discussions with companies from other sectors. For GATE, one thing is clear: Our association will strengthen its presence and commitment on the Asian subcontinent

 

In 2024, the the third edition of IndiAirport will even be supported by the German government
